Mr. Waqas Mahmood, MBA from IBA Karachi, has over 30 years commercial banking experience after joining MCB as Management Trainee in 1993. He has worked extensively across various key functions of the bank including Corporate Banking, Retail Business and Operations, Remedial Management, Internal Controls and Compliance. He has contributed significantly in Operational Excellence, Process Automation, Strengthening of Internal Controls and Compliance Risk Management initiatives for the bank over the years. He also served as Chief Compliance Officer of another large commercial bank for two years.
