JOB Description

Responsible to manage the overall activities of Cash Processing area at Cash House. Ensuring that all activities including but not limited to machine authentication of currency notes received during the day are being performed under the laid down directives of SBP regarding Currency Management

Ensure that sorting machines use accordingly to SBP define parameters further processing should be as per Currency Management Strategy without any failure

CPC must ensure cash holding within prescribed CIH ratio according to assign budget by the management

Ensure availability of presentable Packing Material of Bank Notes i.e. Packet Binding Roll, Shrink Wrapping Rolls, Cards for packing category wise i.e. Re-issuable Cash Packing & Soiled Cash Packing separately for well in time disposal with SBP / NBP Intra Bank etc.

To ensure cash receive from cash vault for sorting should be accurate in rings each bundle contains with 10 packets duly recorded and also ensure to sort cash according to branch wise to avoid any dispute between branches and CPC

To ensure closing cash/coins should be according to cash book/SBP cash statement and GL. Further cash should be packed according to its category as defined in SBP currency management strategy.

Ensure to obtain satisfactory rating of CPC with Nil repeated observation, further faithful compliance should be submitted within speculated time with no unfaithful compliance.

Ensure that cash is machine authenticated so that excess cash holdings can be disposed-off with NBP/SBP to avoid piling up of cash.

Lesion with Branches regarding disclosing / pointed out any type of irregularities in deflating branches.

Follow rigorously Service Level Agreements established with key internal departments to effectively and efficiently maintain relationships with them for smooth working

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelors/Masters from a recognized university with adequate knowledge of SBP Regulations (Currency Management)
  • Degree in Business/Finance preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of branch banking/CPC operations
  • Thorough knowledge of banking practices & procedures

Experience Profile:

3 - 4 years of relevant experience

  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills;
  • Analytical & problem solving skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure under tight deadlines;
  • Team & time management skills
