JOB Description

The Manager of Technology Initiatives is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of strategic technology projects across the organization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions that align with business goals. The Manager will work to implement emerging technologies, enhance current systems, and improve overall business operations through technology-driven initiatives.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1	Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential value for the business. Collaborate with leadership to define the technology roadmap and ensure alignment with the organizations's overall strategic objectives.	20%
2	Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication of project requirements, goals, and progress. Prepare regular updates, reports, and presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders on project status, risks, and outcomes.	20%
3	Successful execution of RBG’s projects in all RBS branches	15%
4	Proactively identify potential risks or obstacles that may hinder the success of technology initiatives and work to resolve them.	15%
5	Ensure smooth adoption of new technologies within the organization through effective change management strategies. Develop and execute training programs to ensure employees are equipped to use new systems or technologies.	10%
6	Monitor the performance of implemented technology solutions, collecting feedback and data to assess their effectiveness.	20%

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Knowledge and Skills:	Graduate/ Masters & MBA (preferably) Strong analytical & decision making skills Ability to take ownership of strategic tasks Solid & diverse banking knowledge
Experience Profile:	5 years of diverse branch banking experience
Behavioural Competencies:	Fluent in communication – written and verbal Problem solving skills Adaptability with changing environment
